plug

Installing audio plugins shouldn't be a chore. Finding the right download page, grabbing the installer, extracting files, dragging them into the right folder - it adds up. plug.audio does all of that for you. Once you install plug, you are one command away from installing any free audio plugin in the registry.

Installation

On macOS and Linux, open a terminal and run this command:

curl -fsSL plug.audio/install.sh | sh

If you're familiar with npm or you're on Windows:

npm install -g @titrate/plug

Once you've done that, you're ready to go. Copy any install command from this site, paste it in your terminal, open your DAW and it just works.

Installing your first plugin

Copy and paste this in your terminal - it will install OTT by Xfer Records, one of the most popular free compressors out there.

See all the plugins you have installed

$ plug list

> uninstall

Remove a plugin you no longer need

$ plug uninstall ott

Show details about a plugin

$ plug info surge-xt

> upgrade

Upgrade installed plugins to the latest version

$ plug upgrade

Set the display language for plugin metadata

$ plug language
